We went to this Thai restaurant on Rue de Nil as it was across Frenchie BAV where we had our drinks. We just had the red Thai curry with jasmine rice. It was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent.

Excellent restaurant! I visited with a gluten free family member (and despite not being gluten free myself) had a wonderful meal. We shared the shrimp salad and red and yellow curries. Good menu of options, great flavor, friendly and attentive service, and a welcoming and comfortable space on a charming street. I would return here without question and will recommend this to others! Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Fully gluten free

I have been gluten free for almost all of my life and I have had lots of delicious Thai/Cambodian food. This food would make you think that is not possible. We only ordered two things, but we were starving, so we dug right in. The khao soy was okay, pretty good flavor, but the veggies tasted like they had been sitting out for a very long time. The pad Thai was awful. Truly the worst pad Thai I’ve ever had. Tasted just like someone had put rice vinegar on rice noodles. If you are celiac and need a dedicated gf restaurant I totally understand going here but otherwise, go get literally any other pad Thai. Chances are it will be gluten free AND delicious.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant a couple of nights ago. It was the most disappointing Thai meal we had ever had. Afterwards my wife wrote a review and she just received a completely untrue and frankly quite shocking response from the owner. We walked to the counter calmly to speak to the waitress. We did not block the way, did not raise our voices, and certainly did not threaten anyone. We calmly and quietly explained that the Massaman beef curry we were served was inedible — the beef was raw, tough, and nothing like what was described on the menu. To clarify we did not order a raw wok styled beef dish we ordered a massaman curry but there was no curry sauce, no peanuts, no potatoes — just dry, raw slices of beef with a spicy chili oil see the photo. We asked for a 50% discount on that specific dish because it was completely inedible. At no point did we demand anything beyond that or cause a scene. In fact, we spoke so quietly that the customers around us could not have heard us — the claim that we caused a scandal in front of 32 people is pure fabrication. This response from the owner is not only dishonest, it’s also an attempt to publicly discredit us for giving honest feedback. It’s clear they’re more interested in covering up bad food and poor service than addressing customer concerns. If you’re considering eating here, I’d strongly advise caution. What we experienced was not authentic Thai food, and their response just highlights the lack of accountabilty. Service: Dine in Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

My daughter and I have celiac and we had diner at Thaisil. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. Almost all the menu is GF, the service is great and employees are knowledgeable about gluten allergy. Lots of vegetarian options. We'll go again when in Paris.
