I stopped by during my lunch break on a weekday, and it was the only spot in the neighborhood that was completely packed. I wanted to dine in, but there was no space left, so I ordered takeout instead. I got the Mama Kossa, and overall, the food was very good. The flavors were there, though I was expecting a bit more spice. I was slightly disappointed that the rice and lentils were a bit dry, which was probably due to the lunch rush. On the positive side, the plantains were delicious (honestly the main reason I came), and the green goddess dressing was excellent. It was also the perfect lunch portion. I took the small bowl and didn’t feel too full afterward, which I really appreciated. I would definitely come back at a less busy time to try something else. I really like the concept and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
