I went with my family with teenage kids to this wine bar. They serve nice tapas and wine but please be aware they do not serve nonalcoholic beverages except fro abricot juice which is by the way very nice or water sparkling or still.Friendly personnel they even had a Dutch speaking because Dutch origine waitress. Cost atmosphere.

I will be the first to admit I don't care for traditional French cuisine and all the touristy meals the cafes serve. I was so happy to find Freddy's! Tiny place, but felt large with all the energy on a Friday night. It started with the manager telling us a party of 4 would be a 45 min wait, but when he saw my 20 yr old was on the edge of hangry he moved people around and got us seats together in less than 10 minutes. The awesome service did not stop there. The waitress was Australian and thus spoke English (bonus!) so she explained the menu and away we ordered. The food came out quickly - not all at once, but rather at a nice pace to keep us noshing with room for conversation. What did we love? I would say all of it, but here are the highlights... falafel, fish (no chips), steak with chimichurri and the mini burger. Note of caution - it is not table seating - it is all side by side bar style. Enjoy!

One of the less traditional meals we had on our trip to paris, and absolutely in a good way. after several rich and heavy meals, it was refreshing to enjoy a lighter, ingredients-forward menu that felt more modern in flavor and presentation. this was also reflected in the buzzy and lively dining room, as well as a more casual, but no less attentive, service staff. my only wish is that portions were a touch bigger!

We spent five days in Paris and had dinner at this restaurant on a Thursday. The menu was rather limited. We were going to order the tasting menu, but we noticed that the meat dishes were all pigeon. We hate pigeon. Fortunately, our waiter, Germán, a true professional, attentive and observant, guided us in choosing dishes we could enjoy. The ambiance and the restaurant itself, like all restaurants in Paris, as you know, don't live up to the price. Small tables, very close together, with little to no linens and poor-quality cutlery and glasses... typical of Paris and most of France. Without a doubt, the most valuable thing about the restaurant was our waiter, Germán, a Peruvian who has lived in Paris for many years. He knew how to guide us and make dinner a truly special experience.
