A caterer or we find a great sauerkraut. The one at riesling is a treat. a special sauerkraut is accompanied by a very varied cutlery. all products at schmidt are excellent: foie gras, munster, mirabelle pie and wines that accompany them.
Nice address next to the station! it changes classic sandwiches, and before taking the train, we always stop there with pleasure! The good pretzels and blueberry pies!!
Close to the east station, a restaurant-boutique and catererer founded in 1904, specialized in alsatian products. large variety of charcuterie, wines, pastries, sandwiches to take away or consume on site. but few tables
I've been stopping into Schmid for lunch or to buy provisions for a meal for years. This most recent order was a disaster--the sausages were barely fresh, the choucroute was served in a stingy way, the smoked pork filet was sloppily cut, over all, a very very bad performance. And this place is NOT cheap. So with great regret, I'm not sure I'll ever dine or shop here again.
Surprisingly, I am not a big fan of a traditional french breakfast. I found this little gem around the corner from my accomodation. I didn't know what to order exactly, when I spotted a hot dog (unhealthy i know, but I could eat anything at this moment).. I thought it was a hot dog, until I decided to have a bite it was a spicy sausage with a spicy mustard. I didn't like it all, however apart from that I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys that type of Cuisine.
