The portion of the grilled fish was microscopic in relation to its 35 euro per portion price !!!! It was like eating cardboard soaked in oil surrounded by onion strips no taste of the citronella that was supposed to be a part of it. Even the nems were a great disappointment: Tasteless, their sauce was watered down. The wild shrimp in coconut sauce was tasteless as well. The worst oriental meal I had in my life. The only good thing was the black sesame ice cream and I am not a desert person. We will never again put my foot in this restaurant. The takeaway asian food place, around the corner, deserves 3 Michelin stars in comparison to Ru. Last night was very disapointing , a supposidely vietnamese restaurant . I visited Vietnam recently but what we (5 guests) were served here last evening is puting vietnamese cuisine to great shame. That was our personal impression.

The dishes feel fresh and well prepared, and you can really taste the balance of flavours that Vietnamese cuisine is known for. The menu offers a nice variety, from comforting noodle soups to lighter dishes with herbs and vegetables. Everything I tried tasted authentic and satisfying without feeling too heavy. The setting is cosy and a bit more refined than a typical casual spot, which makes it a nice place for a relaxed dinner. Service is friendly and attentive as well. Overall, a very enjoyable place for Vietnamese food and definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.
