It's a restaurant I frequent and they're famous for their paella. There are a lot of people every time. Seafood is quite fresh, and grilled steak is very good too. All dishes are copied, so the price report is very good. I recommend. View all feedback.
What Mónica Borges doesn't like about Pedra Alta:
for the second time, the restaurant was closed without any indication on the internet or by voice. Avoid this kind of mistake to avoid people moving for nothing. View all feedback.
This restaurant is part of a chain. They have many around the Paris area.Price is more than good considering the size of the portions.Must go if you are a sea food lover.Food is good.Wine selection is average. This particular venue is rather small compared to other ones.NOTE: They don't take reservations. If you have a large party, all guests have to be there before they give you a table...Expect long waits on busy week end nights!
We were able to get a table for early 7:30 dinner, but the place quickly filled up after that. Appears to be a local favorite. Most impressed by the parade of huge seafood trays that are almost too big for the tables. Our biggest disappointment was only being my wife and I and not able to order one of the big trays for 3-4 people. Settled for the large shrimp and beef skewers instead. Both were very good, as well as the opening salad plate. Very friendly service. Overall fun and good experience.
We arrived quite late, around 1400h but I suppose this restaurant open non stop during the day.It was empty inside & we were served quickly. Usually this restaurant is always full. The small seafood platter at @ €19, it was really cheap, fresh & filled me up well.My husband & my son took a grilled steak with prawns, they ordered the meat medium cook & the prawns are just well cook. I wonder if people asked the meat for well done, the prawn would be too cook.We enjoyed coming here for the good value fresh seafood, there are also meat on the card.No reservation, come earlier... be careful, the portion are HUGE!
Lets assume that the point start at 3+ Pros:Good in quantity and reasonable price, especially in Paris (+3)Oyters were fresh and delicious (+1)+ Cons:Raw dishes were good but cooked dishes were recklessly made (-1)Some snails were dead for a while, and I unfortunately ate one of them, disgusting experience I could tell (-3)We asked them to wrap the left over. Surprise, surprise ! They kept all the raw dishes e.g oyters, clams,.. were missing (feel free to guess what they use them for, and dont bother to call for complain if you dont speak French) (-1)As usual, their customer service so so, as you guys all experience when visit Paris.Overall: NOT recommended
The muscle smell stink. The fries were cold. Overall, it's just like eating rubbish. I have no idea where all the good comments come from.
