We ordered a set menu that consisted of... read more On a Saturday afternoon we jumped in this Peruvian restaurant. The restaurant was nearly empty, only one couple and we. We ordered a set menu that consisted of main course and dessert. We got only main course. We waited and waited and when we asked for the dessert, the waiter considered it as a new order and tried to bill extra because of that.

The food is fine w/o being at the top level.The price match the quality and this is overall a good experience. The staff is nice and it's an excellent opportunity to taste the insufficiently known Chile/Peru aperitif: the Pisco Sour (with Pisco - white porto like, egg white, lime and spices - I love it).

I have always been greeted warmly by this very nice lady who also doubles up as the server. The food has always come out great and the service is very attentive. She does not make me feel rushed, is always friendly and puts up very well with my inability to communicate in French. She recommended the Pisco Sour during one of my trips there and gave me another small glass for free when I expressed how nice it tasted. The menu does not vary much, but for a solo dinner -I prefer Paso Doble where I am made to feel welcome and treated with care.

We... read more We decided to try Peruvian food as we heard a lot of good about it. Paso Doble is kind of pleasantly decorated warm yellow colors which are welcoming guests. We tried the combined warm starters and the beef wok on rice. All of it is quite ok yet not superlative. If u take the meal without the Fork reduction it is a it pricey for what it is. With the 30% reduction we felt just fine ... though not as elated as desired ...
