The food was evenly excellent, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very relaxing. I can imagine that this will be our Japanese/Sushi restaurant, while here in Paris. They have a nice selection of Sake, and while casting are generous, they will cost you.

I also hav... read more I am having lunch at Naoki very regularly about two to three times a week for the past year or so. I'm living in Paris and work about 5 minutes away. I also have dinner there from time to time, probably once a month...or so. In terms of food Naoki is probably one of the best Japanese restaurants in Paris. I usually have sashimi and the fish is very fresh and nicely prepared. But I also had other dishes (more or less most of what they have on the menu) and was never disappointed. The only potential point to consider is that the waiting time can be quite long. The place opens for lunch at 12:30 and I'm usually there at that time. In this case I manage to get out in 60 90 minutes. However, when the restaurant is full the time can be very long. The problem is less pronounced at dinner and during lunch there is always the option to order the daily special (which changes every day) which makes things much faster. Overall I recommend (otherwise would not have returned dozens of times I guess) under the condition that you are not very pressed for time. I have sampled plenty of Japanese restaurants in Paris (probably 20 30 or so over the years) and this is without doubt among the top 3.
