We love going to its neighbour Sanuki... read more This restaurant is well located close to Faubourg St Honore area and a stones throw from the Japan town area of Madaleine. We love going to its neighbour Sanukiya (see my review) which has some of the best Udon in the city. This clean and friendly restaurant was very authentic in its Korean food. Wonderful flavours and nice setting. One big dining room area and can be full at lunch time because of their lunch specials in the 12-15 Euro range. The Kimchi and Kimchi Jigae is excellent. If you can't get into Sanukiya, this make a great alternative. Enjoy!Owner speaks great English, Korean and French obviously. Very friendly and easy going...

We had the seaweed salad, leek pancake and fried chicken for starters and they were excellent. We even ordered a second helping of the chicken. For entrees we ordered a sliced pork (can't remember the name but started with a J) and a kimchi rice. I thought the pork dish was particularly delicious. Our server, her name was morgan I believe, was top notch. Took her time with us explaining dishes and overall was just damn pleasant.

The quality is excellent. It was hard to hear each other talk, as the place was noisy. One small drawback: we were told once while we were there that there was a second seating at 1:30 pm and that we therefore needed to vacate our seats. Efficient and very friendly staff.
