We had shown many restaurants along the rue by our guide, but now it was just us and a Sunday. we were not sure that we would find a place open, and many places... read more We had shown many restaurants along the rue by our guide, but now it was just us and a Sunday. we were not sure that we would find a place open, and many places were closed; but we saw many people out on the lou pascalou terrace and went in to have a look. a few tables were just released and there was a gitarist who played latin/calypso style on electro. then he was gone. but there was a wonderful eclectic charge that this little bistro said it was worth staying, so we sat. the menu was easy. we ordered a plate of cheese and sausages containing terrine and salat. his size exceeded the price, but the cuts of meat and cheese were also better than most places. we have taken a carafe bourgueil red wine. the david Lewis quartet started to play, later ursuline kairson added her vocals, the sound was super, the eating right, the weeping. a nice dinner. The lou Pascalou management has been cultivating musicians and bands for years and has a monthly list of concerts and Rendez-vous, who like to listen to their customers with eating and drinks. I recommend this little bistro very and suggest that they stop in advance to get their concert listing.
