We were in love on paris and had booked a table for 9pm after a busy day. we went on foot and arrived with more than half an hour late but the boss, very friend... read more We were in love on paris and had booked a table for 9pm after a busy day. we went on foot and arrived with more than half an hour late but the boss, very friendly, accepted us without any worries in his restaurant while this one was supposed to close at 10:00. we ordered entry, dish, dessert, everything was delicious and fine. The wine was beautiful, a Saint Emilion, my favorite. the service was impeccable and we had not had to wait a lot of time for our dishes, without feeling pressed by the time that passed. We finally closed the restaurant (23h past) and it was when the boss proposed to take us back with his vehicle because our hotel was on his way (super nice from him!!) and as I was in heels and we were on foot, we agreed with great pleasure and came out of the restaurant very happy and with the desire to go back there for a next stay in Paris. I highly recommend it!

Nothing to say about the quiche. As for the hot goat salad, slices of full bread or country bread to replace the white mie bread would sublimate this salad. Nothing to say about the presentation of dishes where there is a real research.

Booked this restaurant a month in advance as I was celebrating my sons birthday on a recommendation. We arrived and were waiting 30 minutes for the waitress to... read more Booked this restaurant a month in advance as I was celebrating my sons birthday on a recommendation. We arrived and were waiting 30 minutes for the waitress to take out drinks order this was fine as she was on her own. My son ordered beer but was told beer was ‘finished’ and we could have wine or water. Wine it was! We then ordered our food I ordered rump steak with mashed potatoes as did my son. When the steak arrived there were no mashed potatoes and the steak was served with orzo pasta with mixed vegetables. When I asked where the mashed potato was I was told it was ‘finished’. This is very poor service I should have been told before my dish was served to me and I would never order steak with a side of pasta. Also two locals arrived after we ordered and were served before us and guess what they got mashed potatoes! Anyway the waitress then gave me a side plate with a tablespoon of mashed potato garnished with cauliflower to compensate. We had desserts crème brûlée was split and eggy but the tart tatin was very good. I wouldn’t recommend or return.
