The meze were good, easily shared for t... read more We had dinner in Le Résila in December 2016. It was unexpected to find such tasty Turkish cooking in a residential area. The meze were good, easily shared for two or three people. The beef or lamb was well cooked. There were a few sugary options for desserts in addition to the usual baklava. Very professional service from the manager. Highly recommended.

We were staying at the Relais St Jacques, just around the corner (excellent by the way) and since we live in France we wanted to eat a non- typical French meal for a change. Found this restaurant during the day and went back in the evening and were treated to some absolutely delicious Turkish food. You know when you eat something so delicious that the memory of the taste stays with you for ever - well the deliciousness of their minced-meat koftas will do just that. The service was ever so slightly frosty when we arrived since the tables were occupied only by local residents. However, as the evening progressed, the staff became much more friendly, especially since it was obvious that we were really enjoying their food.I would highly recommend eating here.

Excellent Turkish coffee and pleasant staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed while elegant.

The restaurant looked like a typical bistrot from the outside, but as has been mentioned many times here, the cuisine is more eastern Mediterranean. I had the fromage blanc, the lamb and then rice pudding. All of these were fine, but nothing was all that different from a million places in Paris. Would I go back here? Sure, why not as I am in Paris often and there are many nondescript places in the 5th. However, I certainly would not make this a destination stop or even go a few blocks out of the way for it.

I had the adana kebab and himself had the veal it was excellent and brought back memories of my visit to Turkey many years ago. We then had the baklava (neither of us can resist this wonderful dessert) and I am delighted to say this was one of the best we have had in a long time. Sweet, sticky and full of pistachio nuts it was accompanied by slices of orange which took the edge off the sweetness and was a perfect match. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and the young man who served us was a delight!
