I went on a Sunday at 6 pm.

The waiter was attentive and atmosphere w... read more A Montmartre atmosphère with average food. Ran into Le Progrès while walking around Montmartre and decided to stop by. The waiter was attentive and atmosphere was calm as soon as we entered. We ordered the escargots, steak, tartar, and crème brûlée for dessert. Some dishes were good such as the tartar and salad dressing. On the other hand, the steak was not very well prepared and the cut was full of tendons. If you're looking for a calm bistro with nice atmosphere, I would recommend stopping by but I would not expect to be blown away by the food. Far from it...
