What Dasia Johnston doesn't like about Le Moncey:
We had a quick dinner here. 2 onion soups they where ok nothing special nothing bad, the waiter was ok but probably at the first time doing this job only one was able to speak english in the resturant. Overall a fine resturant pretty tourist...but not bad. Of course you can find better restaurants around. The toilets weren't that clean. We enjoyed the food and service at "Brasserie Le Moncey". Staff were considerate of our broken French and communicated well in English when necessary. The 'Le Moncey' burger was good, very interesting. A burger with potato/hash brown cakes for buns. Was a unique twist that worked well. Good pricing on Stella draft so we went here two nights! Our hotel was nearby and we enjoyed the staff.
You feel like home, besides it's cheap and the servers and the boss are nice and it's open until late in the night!
In two words: service degueulasse. Not pleasant place. Not clean dishes...In conclusion: avoid absolutely, go back!
Come spend a few days in Paris, we discovered this restaurant brewery near our hotel. We didn't regret it and made it our almost daily evening restaurant. very nice staff, simple but very good kitchen. very good value quality price. The menu is copied. The menu dishes, which is quite varied, are also.No hesitation if we return to betting in this neighborhood.
Do not expect high gastronomy but you will find an honest brewery-bistrot cuisine well done with hearty menu dishes. friendly service, quick, you can eat there any time, and at all reasonable prices for the neighborhood. excellent meat.
