Le Central - Paris

Cafe Central was right around the corner from our hotel and became our go-to cafe for lunch and dinner. Every meal we had there (7 total) over a week's time was excellent. For lunch we chose a few of their egg dishes and all were excellent as well as their croque monsieur. We had a carafe of reasonably priced Rose wine with dinner each time. The potatoes they served with the duck confit were the BEST! Wish I had asked for their recipe! Why did we decide to return again and again to this lively cafe? The food and the service were excellent every time regardless of the time of day or how busy they were. Cannot wait to go back to Paris and to Cafe Central!

Really enjoyed our dinner here, definitely better than some other cafes in the neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the French onion soup and the truffle ravioli, as well as the burrata arugula salad. Great drinks as well! We had a table outside with lots of great people watching: . Server was attentive and spoke English. We are staying in the area and we'll be back!

Had several meals at Cafe Central during our 5 day stay in Paris and every meal was very good. Service was also good. Would definitely dine there again.

Nice food for a Nice price , Nice and friendly Waiter,Spears englisch and we had a Nice time outside

Une bonne brasserie de la rue Cler.. Mais attention au serveur! Personnellement je choisis mes tables en fonction du serveur... C'est triste!
