Fantastic evening at the counter, with very friendly and attentive service. Great products and a perfect pace throughout the meal. Everything you would expect from an establishment by Yannick Alléno.

Their strategy is to put you on waiting list when you try to book even a month early.1 week before that they will tell you there is place available to make you want to try it desperately We were looking forward but extremely disappointed with the food.Food is blend, poor and whoever that prepared the sushi obviously is not exposed or eaten real Michelin omakase especially those from Singapore or Japan.Extremely poor and I am beginning to wonder the quality of Michelin inspectors. But then again I was at Kei and Le Cinq and both were great.Oh well, there are hits and misses.LAbyss is definitely a big MISS.

L'Abysse serves, without question, the best otoro in France. Sourced from elite Spanish suppliers, the fatty tuna melts on the tongue. It's a level of quality I have otherwise only encountered in Japan. This commitment to excellence is evident in every piece of sushi, each fashioned with meticulous care and flawless technique. The balance of perfectly seasoned shari and pristine fish is sublime.

I’m so sorry and not believing I’m writing this, but I feel I have to express what I feel from tonight’s experience. (I’m so sorry I didn’t tell the staff when they asked… I just can’t The staff is absolutely heartwarming, so is the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I wasn’t satisfied about the food. The whole set was very salty for me. The starter, the broth, the chawanmushi and sushi as well. Maybe it is the whole concept of the restaurant 深海…? I also feel the texture of the sushi rice was not as elastic as the ones I had in Japan… maybe the breed of the rice is different? Also the sinews in Otoro was not properly prepped… I think slightly cutting the sinew in shorter pieces will help breaking it while maintaining the texture of the meat. Lastly, the small bowls for broth and chawanmushi are chipped… I’m quite sure it is not the design although I do notice the design of the bowls are special. I’m sorry but I will not recommend my friend to this restaurant. Considering the price range, it supposed to be a high-end restaurant, but it was not as good as we expected.
