I just had a budding pie which... read more I grabbed a bit at this bakery at my first day in Paris in the afternoon. The staffs in the bakery could barely speak in English. I just had a budding pie which cost me merely 1.8 EURO, with crunchy crust outside and tasty custard inside, giving me a great impression of the pie in France.

There is a bit of line to get your order but that's a good testimony of the Boulanger and patisseries reputation. Do try!

Though the attendants did not speak Engl... read more My husband and I stayed in Nation in July of 2015. We stopped here to grab a couple of sandwiches on our way to a park. Though the attendants did not speak English, they were very helpful. We managed to communicate through use of my terrible French and hand gestures. The food was incredibly tasty. They offered a deal for a baguette sandwich, drink, and dessert for around 7 Euros. This was the best lunch I had while in Paris. The serrano ham baguette with pesto, lettuce, and tomato was so tasty that my mouth is watering thinking about it almost a month later. The dessert I got was also delicious with fresh creme filling and high-quality chocolate. If I make it back to Paris again, I will certainly be visiting this delicious eatery.

Two trips now I have stayed in Nation and both times I have not been able to resist entering, La fournée d'Augustine has a wonderful array of French bakery item... read more Two trips now I have stayed in Nation and both times I have not been able to resist entering, La fournée d'Augustine has a wonderful array of French bakery items, the window is always filled with divine looking cakes, there are loads of pastries and biscuits, the filled baguettes are top quality, generous fillings, good value and tasty. Service is always with a smile, and accepting of my poor French. Merci. La fournée d'Augustine is located just across the road from Nation metro entrance.
