What Augustin Weber doesn't like about Irish Corner Nation:
Nous avons juste bu un verre dans ce pub.La déco est pas mal en revanche la musique trop aléatoire et pas trop relative à un pub irlandais.Service moyen. Très peu de monde et pas très réactifs pourtant.Sinon la bière était très bonne (mort subite) par contre quasi 10€ la pinte c'est tout de même cher.Bref un endroit qui a du potentiel mais pas exploité au vu du peu de personnes qui s'y trouvaient un vendredi soir. Good place to watch 6 nations, TV screens in every corenr and a huge one in the middle. The also sell Belgian beer, The Grimbergen, which is something...
Served by a surly French waitress, who doesn't write your order down, fair enough, if she could remember it!! When you let her know politely that she has brought the wrong pizza.... She tells you that she repeated the order back to you... You said yes.... So you are wrong!!! What she did do was repeat the correct order back to us, just brought the wrong pizza. Was then too scared to tell her... She'd brought the wrong wine too!!!! Walk away! There has to be better than this!!!
This place is probably famous for its football games on TV. The athmospere is good, but the beer is expensive.
Irish Corner is busy cosy pub often full of regulars. It has warm atmosphere and layout with wood furniture, large counter, small corners, tight tables. Friendly and fast service. Large and simple brasserie food at reasonable prices. My favorites : tapas plate, Paysanne salad, BBQ ribs, hearty welsh. TVs are not so large and field of view isn't good everywhere, so beware of choosing the right place to watch matches. To conclude : not really an Irish pub but who does it really matter ?
