The place is kind of self service, the croissant are not as good as the Laduree few meters away from Fauchon, the deli sandwiches were excellent so was the coffee. The seats are uncomfortable and rather odd for high end place like Fauchon. Overall recommended
Paramos lá rapidamente para um café e fomos surpreendidos pelo excelente croissant, crocante por fora e macio e delicado por dentro!Atendimento gentil, preço ok.
Very good service and top quality of pastry and cakes, also nice coffee of course, just the hard seating is not very comfortable. The staff speak very good English. This refers to the basic part of Fauchon around the corner. Would come back any time.
Service was friendly and professional Mahamadou gave us excellent attention. Food was hit and miss the foie gras was good; the asparagus very good. Main courses cold the chicken was a bit dry; the gnochetti lacked seasoning and was cold. There was a miserable tray of pastries looking very sad and lonely in a big display case. The coffee (some sort of capsule) was poor. The decor is dreadful like a 1970's discotheque. Sadly, it really doesn't live up to the Fauchon name and prior reputation. Next door there is a lovely Fauchon shop the Cafe needs to be upgraded to that sort of standard.
