Very good service and top quality of pastry and cakes, also nice coffee of course, just the hard seating is not very comfortable. The staff speak very good English. This refers to the basic part of Fauchon around the corner. Would come back any time. View all feedback.
What Arthur Delorme doesn't like about Fauchon Paris:
Visited the Madeleine tearoom location for a quick lunch after shopping. Usually would choose Hediard but they're closed for renovations. Basic order...a croque Monsieur with salad, a glass of rose and mint tea. Very crowded with loads of the iconic pink bags so guests were already committed. When one of my friends told me she needed some recommendations of places to go to in Paris, some standard sites entered my mind: Galeries Lafayette, Le tour
Hrm, I think Fauchon turns me on more than any man ever has.
The place is kind of self service, the croissant are not as good as the Laduree few meters away from Fauchon, the deli sandwiches were excellent so was the coffee. The seats are uncomfortable and rather odd for high end place like Fauchon. Overall recommended
