When I was a kid forced to travel to Paris against my will, the only thing I would eat was croque monsieur (maybe croque madame if I was adventurous). Not sure... read more When I was a kid forced to travel to Paris against my will, the only thing I would eat was croque monsieur (maybe croque madame if I was adventurous). Not sure why its impossible to get a good croque monsieur outside france, but ive tried...and failed. As a grownup, I was delighted to see someone take the concept and run with it. Why get a croque monsieur at a brasserie when you can go to a specialist? My wife and I shared a Faste, a Veggie, and a Pastrami very clever to serve halves. Our favorite was the Pastrami. I was pleased to learn that the pastrami itself is from Wills Deli just up the street. If it weren't for the fact that pastrami itself is just a superior ingredient, our favorite would have been the traditional (Faste). If we had to go vegetarian, the Veggie would still have been a spectacular option. Three regrets: would like to have tried more options. I stuck with the traditional with a bit of decision fatigue. Even though I studied the menu before I got there, I just couldn't get beyond the traditional. With so many creative options I would like to have experienced at least one more variety. Next time I might try the sampler to make sure I get a bit of each. Second regret is not having a salad or dessert. Something green to complement the sandwich would have made things a bit healthier. The options seemed thoughtfully constructed. Ill forgive myself that one as a first timer. The cookies looked amazing but I was too full. Third regret is I might do the croque madame option. I didn't see that until too late. I felt well taken care of and my nostalgia for the croque monsieur was completely satisfied...until next visit!

The space is amazing and the service even better, could not recommend a place more!! Please, if you are in Paris, this is a no miss! Going to be thinking about this when I leave Paris
