The hairy bread, the real with the great father's recipe. an ideal slice accompanied by a good pasta of countryside or a sheep's cheese or even when entering with a lay of avocado, cherry tomato and a fine slice of salmon. Well, that's good, bartub is a few steps away.
The pastries were good, but didn’t seem all that fresh. I was expecting more based on what I had read.
Still as good as ever. The brioche is good too. Poilane bread, the real deal, made with Grandpa's recipe. A perfect slice with a good country pâté or sheep's cheese, or even as a starter with a layer of avocado, cherry tomato, and a thin slice of salmon. Hey, that's convenient, Barthouil is just a few steps away.
An institution! The sourdough bread is simply exceptional, with a unique flavor and excellent keeping qualities. The shortbread cookies are also delicious. The atmosphere is authentic and true to tradition. The staff is welcoming and passionate. An iconic establishment that deserves its reputation.
