What Élise Lacroix dislikes about Compose:
My husband and I chose to eat here after reading the reviews. Upon arriving it seemed they were out of a variety of items to choose from, could not purchase a bag of chips for some reason, the bathroom was not working and the salad greens were not fresh. We were looking forward to a healthy vegetarian lunch and were disappointed. View all feedback.
It's not much to look at and is actually a little awkwardly quiet but the food is incredibly fresh, the staff we're really friendly and the pasta I had was out of this world. I guess the best way to describe it in basic terms would be a very upscale subway where you get to ask for ingredients on your pasta, pizza or sandwich that you pick from behind a bar. The difference between this and Subway is that the food is all fresh and it's delicious. Great for a quick bite before or after the museum
Fancying a change from the tourist traps offering low quality "traditional French food". We found this great pizza/deli place a minute or so as from Musee d'Orsay. It offers a wide selection of options where you can choose several toppings of fresh meats and vegetables to go on salads, pizzas, sandwiches or pasta. Portions are big making it value for money too. Great for both vegetarians and meat lovers!
This was the healthiest & most affordable meal I had in my entire stay in Paris! My friend & I were so thrilled to have found this little spot just steps away from Musee d'Orsay.Staff: very friendly & spoke fluent French & English if needed.Payment: credit cards acceptedBest Value: croissant & coffee = 2EurosTip: as your salad is made fresh right in front of you, it may take some time if there are other customers ahead of you. So I wouldn't recommend going if you're in a rush.Salads: I chose the fresh salad option. You choose what kind of salad base you want (thick leaves, fine leaves, cold pasta noodles, etc.) and then you're allowed to choose 4 fresh ingredients and a topping which are all mixed in for you by the staff. I chose the small size & it was completely filling. My friend had the focaccia sandwhich (pre-made with cheese, meat, & then toasted for you) and he said it was very tasty. If you're looking for a healthy meal at extremely affordable prices in the heart of Paris, this is it.
2 salads, 2 bottles of water, 2 small fruit cups 30€. Lol
When you enter it's a bit confusing, but the staff will explain everything, they're really great! The food is delicious
