Great and simple food served with a smile. Amazing ambience with the staff playing good traditional songs and making everyone dance. At the end my daughter also sang. An unforgettable evening. View all feedback.
What Lindsay D'Amore dislikes about Colbeh:
Very nice restaurent it's Iranian the food is awesome very delicious. the owner is an artists when he is in good mood he plays the music and sings he also invites the clients to participate we were lucky to have met 4 French guys celebrating...birthday there so we all danced and had a good time; in case you find yourself alone i suggest you to reserve a night tour to accompany you we did that and she was amazing and... I’ve dined in many Persian restaurants. While the ambiance was charming and the service was excellent, the food lacked the special presence that makes Persian food pop it was acceptable but at best average. We ordered the standard grilled chicken. It came with a small portion of rice (most Persian restaurants give you too much) with very little saffron and the meager portion of chicken was not marinated and seasoned as expected for this dish; there was a thin sliver of lemon and no grilled tomatoes or onions customarily seen with this presentation. Moreover, the grilling tasted like it may have been prepared over a gas flame vs the customary open char wood. We are grateful for the great service and kind hosts.
Genuine good Persian eating ... well prepared dishes and excellent service ... the lady who served was a tight on earth, prices are very good. I recommend it for anyone who looks for authentic taste
It is a sweet little place with friendly service and very good eating. we are a family with teenagers, one of whom is vegetarian and both species of picky, but we all really enjoyed colbeh. it was delicious and relaxing and fun.
Tried the Joojeh kabab and Koobideh here, both tasted flat and a bit dry, nowhere near the juicy Persian kebab I expected. They brought out a mixed side-dish plate that looked straight out of the supermarket cans, but they charge full restaurant prices for it. Felt kinda ripped off, to be honest. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the food just isn’t worth the money. Probably won’t be back. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
