The shredded pork, once a signature at Chaak... read more Guacamolé made from unripe avocados chunky, rubbery bits of tasteless green hiding behind a whole lot of red onion. The shredded pork, once a signature at Chaak, was tough,stringy, and flavored with what must have been BBQ sauce very red, and very vinegary. No Mexican flavors present it it whatsoever. This place has really gone downhill steadily over the years. The tortilla chips, once homemade, were obviously the purchased, salty, flavorless run of the mill variety available in any French grocery store. They forgot my cheese there was none to be found in my tacos. The tortillas themselves were slimy, undercooked, bland, and...COMMERCIAL. They were purchased wholesale from the same tex mex kits sold in the grocery stores with that background vinegar taste that preservatives supply to long shelf breads made with flour. Just a DISASTER.
