I’ve never been asked that anywhere else in Paris. I didn’t want to make a scene, so I asked him to top it up to 30 euros. He said, “whatever”, as if it were too little. I can understand french a little it because i lived in Quebec, i’m just not confident in speaking. But he did not demand other French customers for tip.
