We had a delicious early family dinner. The service feels very welcome (we booked to be on the terrace). All the food is home made and they are very accommodating. We had the veggie burger (home made mushroom, chickpeas rice patty), it was very nice and the chips nicely crispy. We asked half chips and half salad (came with graines, slices of radishes and cucumber). Cookie to take away and the bill was reasonable. Worth another visit as they are loads of tourists unhealthy traps around!!!!
As with many regions in France, the area around Le Pouliguen is not terribly vegetarian friendly, and I was delighted to come across the little coffee shop, Cafe Ploom. Their menu is kept limited, but the food is prepared to a nice standard. There is a vegetarian burger permanently on the menu, and each day there is a daily menu which contains a vegetarian option, in addition to a soup/salad which may or may not be vegetarian. I had a lovely vegetable crumble, with a very good side salad, followed by an oat milk cappuccino. Additionally, their fries are to die for. It is a small cafe, with one waitress and one chef, both of whom are very friendly and accommodating. The chef, as they state on their menu, is British and came from Brighton, so if you are worried about the language barrier there shouldn't be one. When I go back to Le Pouliguen, I will definitely be going there again.

It happens in a corner where you are not embarrassed by the choice of vegan food. So you don't get angry when you understand there's nothing on the map. You don't get angry after 45 minutes of waiting because the waitress agreed to chew you a vegan plate. The burger (without bread, since it is not vegan????????? It's incredibly, frankly, I don't have any memories of eating something like that. So I'm getting out of here pretty mixed up: I could hardly taste anything because of a lack of vegan choice, the waitress forgot to tell us that they were great meat in the kitchen, and at the same time the frame is all nice and what I ate was excellent...
