My favorite restaurant in Paris. It's all home, from the desserts. The famous individual beef coast and the frozen charterer at the end of the meal remains a must. To do and redo!
It's wonderful to celebrate your 65th birthday... especially at Brigitte's restaurant! My son had made a reservation, and we had a lovely table at the counter. There were six of us, and everyone unanimously agreed that we had a fantastic meal! First of all, the kindness and welcome were wonderful: everyone didn't arrive at the same time, and we were allowed to enjoy a drink in peace while waiting for everyone to be seated, without any pressure. Now for the main courses: delicious white asparagus for starters, a very original short rib served in thin slices with flavorful sauces, and then the main courses: lamb chops with feta cheese (cooked perfectly, as requested), melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek bourguignon with a delicious sauce and homemade mashed potatoes, a generous sirloin steak, and, for the fish course, a discovery of the dentex, which was very much appreciated. This wonderful meal was accompanied by an excellent 2024 Crozes-Hermitage red (Yann Chave), which was a unanimous hit! Finally, the desserts: incredible chocolate profiteroles, and also the dark chocolate soufflé. In short, a truly excellent restaurant, classic but not old-fashioned, with no flaws whatsoever, generous portions, and professional, attentive service. A gem of a place in Paris.
