Bones - Paris

Such a delicious dinner ! We loved every dish that we had and would definitely go back and recommend to friends ! A good place to go with lots of friends so you can try all of the dishes. It was a little pricey but overall worth the money

While the food was quite good, I found the service terribly pushy. On our arrival, we were informed exactly how much time we would be allowed to stay at our table for 5. The waitress/ manager immediately started pushing to take our orders though we clearly were not ready. When we finally accepted, she repeated 3 times, « that one you ll have to order 2 of them if you want to have enough. » Yes the dishes are quite small but she clearly just didn’t want to be called back for further orders. We spent a good amount of money, for example $160 on wine and ate well but as our time limit approached, she offered us the check. As we finished our glasses of wine, she stood by our table and let us know that the next group had arrived… This is the type of **** you might experience in NYC but I was extremely disappointed to see this in France. In the states, at least they would have been apologetic and more subtle; the French still have some learning to do in terms of customer service. I will certainly not be returning anytime soon.

Very nice restaurant, delicious food, good service

Absolutely lovely. Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and great service with only one very unfortunate miss. We waited nearly an hour for our last course, the duck. It arrived under-rendered with a very thick, chewy fat cap, blue in the middle, and under-rested with the juices spilling onto the plate. It was clear they had rushed it out after I had asked if it was still coming. We sent it back and it returned equally terrible. Honestly, after a two hour dinner with exceptional dishes prior, I would have preferred they canceled a dish they knew was poorly executed. I suspect this was a rare miss because every other dish was excellent but in the future I would suggest being forthcoming rather than trying to pass off a poor, rushed dish.

Top restaurant. Super nice service, delicious food simple but to the point. Nice audience.
