Serving rich, delicious ice cream and pastries, this very famous spot is a must-do in Paris an easy walk, just across the river from Notre Dame
This is a cheese shop (fromagerie), not a restaurant. They have a nice selection of cheese, and the woman working there was very friendly and accommodating. When I told her this was my first visit to a French cheese shop, she went out of her...way to explain things and make recommendations. She happily supplemented my novice French with English. They can also vaccum pack your purchase to keep it fresh longer. Highly recommended!
We were looking for snack foods to take to visit foods and walking past tis place made the cheese decision oh so easy! However with so many choices it makes the decision on what to actually buy much more difficult so we opted for a...plate of different cheeses all tasted great. They have various sites around so be sure to look them up when you're in Paris.
This very famous place is a must in paris to make a simple walk along the river of notre dame.
I stopped loading several times in this. the cheeses were so wonderful that I wanted to take dome after home so that friends enjoy. I chose my cheese and the dame that runs the load sealed it carefully to make it easier to get home safe. I can't wait to return. my friends have already placed their orders with me!
