B.D.J cafe is one of the best restaurant we’ve been to around Paris. We kept coming back because their food and service is really good. We enjoyed the snail, salmon tartare and scallop as a starter. Then for mains is duck leg, steak and fish. Then...for desset is the creme brulee. I Highly recommend this place! We will come back again when we come to Paris. View all feedback.
What Gilles Lemaire doesn't like about B.D.J. cafe:
Ce restaurant est super bien situé sur une jolie place ombragée. La carte est pas trop mal mais pas sûre que ce soit du frais ni du fais maison... Le seul menu proposé est entrée + plat + dessert. Pas d'alternative si on veut juste entrée + plat ou plat + dessert. Dans ce cas-là, c'est à la carte et ce n'est pas donné pour la qualité...La cuisine est hyper petite, bref, ça m'a pas beaucoup inspiré. Je n'y retournerai... View all feedback.
This place is absolutely amazing, eating is great and the service is top. the owner diamar is the best host of all time, we went to celebrate birthday of my friend and she went out of her to make sure that everything is perfect, fully recommended
This restaurant sits next to a beautiful place, but since there is not as much sunshine as the next to it, I can only assume that there were more customers. Pity, because le bar de jarente serves exquisite eating and the staff is nice. my ham and melon starters opened the palate beautiful. I should have asked if the barkbreaks were to be cooked medium, and it was a little difficult to eat. the french tend to eat their flesh rarely. the heavenly claufoutis was also delicious. I paid €26.50 including a glass of wine and coffee. in any case a place I would recommend. Please let me know if they found this review helpful.
Often when you have a great memory of a restaurant meal, it proves to not be as good upon return. NOT SO at the B.D.J. cafe! As before, service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. Both the manager/waiter and the chef have been there for many years, and it's amazing what they do in such a small space! We will be returning again whenever we get the chance to to back to Paris. Very sorry to hear about the insulting review-very unfair and untrue! A bientot, B.D.J.!
We sat under the awning with lovely food and gracious service while the heavens opened - a torrential deluge. Our gracious host (Moose?) was clearly upset that his customers had been inconvenienced by the weather. The level of pride and care he showed, along with the delicious food, explains why this apparently modest cafe is so special.
Belle découverte dans ce quartier renommé. À faire absolument. Gentillesse. Menu nickel tout est bon.Merci
