After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to a nice meal. unfortunately the meal was a real disappointment. the appetizers were too oily (the cereal and... read more After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to a nice meal. unfortunately the meal was a real disappointment. the appetizers were too oily (the cereal and the fish equally) with little to recommend (the fish would have done with something extra lemon to cut. by the oiliness.) then the steak was well cooked and tasty, but with so much gristle that it was impossible to enjoy. the atmosphere was okay, but the manager played u2 on the loop. Not somewhere where I would return to other places near, are cheaper and better.

We visited this restaurant on recommendation of our hotel (the b. montmarte around the corner.) it suffices to say that the evening was a disappointment that en... read more We visited this restaurant on recommendation of our hotel (the b. montmarte around the corner.) it suffices to say that the evening was a disappointment that ended on a devastating note, with the owner who became argumentatiw and aggressive with me - he really annoyed me and I. was a step from crying in the restaurant. on the one hand, the owners and service staff spent more time to drink near the cash, as actually serving, but the actual problem came when we went to pay our bill. the card machine was almost out of the battery and or the restaurant connection to the internet was bad. he told us that our card was either rejected because it was a bad card (it was in the did a mastercard that we used our entire trip) or because we tried to use a map on a pfund basis (a ridiculous suggestion, since this is not how either the visa or MasterCard system works- and trust us, we tried both to be at the end of expecting) as my money had to be out of me. when my man then tried to pay the bill in cash, the owner then said that we had not given him enough when we actually had - he just didn't count it. at this time we were almost convinced that he wanted to miss us. eating was good, but nothing special. but it was the behavior and the attitude of the owner made a really acidic taste in our mouth. visit other restaurants in front of bbb.
