Real French restaurant with French guests. The service is ok, sometimes rather rude, but efficient. Excellent French food. Excellent value for money (full meal wine coffe) for less than 30€/person
Visited the Gare du L’est two nights in a row. Food and service was good. First night the waiter used a calculator to calculate the cost and was accurate. Second night, black female waitress used mental calculation and she maintained it was correct when asked. There is no printout of items in the receipt. Just a final number. I knew we were OVERCHARGED but didn’t want to make a fuss. So if you go there, BEWARE of the billing practice if the waiter used mental calculation. They will add in whatever tips they do desire.
