The nam... read more We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. The antipasti are exceptional. I recommend this restaurant highly. It's not called Napolitano da Gigi. The name on the door is Terra Nera (not to be confused with Terra Nova, the pizza place accross the street).

This is the real deal, the folks at Gigi's are much more comfortable speaking Italian than French or, God forbid, English. The place t has not lost its charm despite having been around for nearly two decades (it's been called Terra Nera...for years but do NOT confuse it with a Terra Nova just opposite! no relation and not nearly as good Finding it is not difficult: turn left as you walk out of the Patheon and walk straight through a by-street until you stumble right into Gigi's tiny eatery. The menu is almost as short as Gigi himself, but it contains enough tastiness for you to come back night after night. Do not overestimate the size of your stomach while ordering: the portions here are large. And do not pass on the antipasti that Gigi lays out before dinner: these are invariably yummy. Enjoy!
