We came here for breakfast at 8 AM. It was a cold December morning and there was no line outside. Inside, however, it was quite full. We really liked our white and milk hot chocolate (thick and smooth). My husband’s croissant with smoked salmon and egg was delicious. Mont Blanc was definitely the best we’ve ever had. What Pipolata doesn't like about Angelina:
The waiter that served us treated us as though we were something he would like to scrape off his shoe. He could not comprehend that we only wanted to order 3 hot chocolates, no water was provided and he huffed as he removed glasses etc off our table. The place was reasonably quiet, and he certainly was not busy. The hot chocolate was alright but I certainly would not want to go there again and I would recommend peopl... View all feedback.
Squashed in and service average Pastries beautifully presented but too Rich for our palette Good we went though and the kids enjoyed the hot chocolate
We visited 3 times over Christmas. The first two times, the queues to eat in or take out were hours long and we didn't have the time. We visited again on Boxing Day and were able to get in to the take away section of the shop. It was worth the wait! The hot chocolate was thick and delicious, like nothing I have ever had before. I only managed half of a small cup due to how rich it was. The cakes were out of this world. Not only did they look amazing, they tasted devine!

The lights were too dimmed (especially for the morning) though I don’t like bright lights at the restaurants and the café was just missing something for me I guess I wanted more history, more glamour, more inspiration. After all, Coco Chanel was a frequent visitor here. But it was a lovely stop and a nice experience after all.
This place is one of the best points for desserts. the mont blanc is the best. Do not miss it. sometimes the queen seems long, but it dehydrates quickly and for those who take away it is another short.
Maybe we get used to it, but I find the facility less prestigious. Quality has not evolved like prices. We found our patisserie less greedy than in the past. Less balanced. For these prices, I think there can be better elsewhere. .
