In a word Exceptional. The food is spectacular, my mixed plater was a wonderful unique range of flavours that took me somewhere else. My main the lamb cooked in 15 herbs and made spicy for me specifically was a flavour bomb beyond mere words. I especially enjoyed the curry puff appetizer at this restaurant. The accompanying sauce was delicious. The gado gado was different from the traditional Indonesian dish, as Malaysian cuisine has its own unique flavors, but it was still enjoyable. The food at this restaurant is delicious. We tried the rendang and laksa dishes and both were fantastic. The staff are friendly and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this place.
A few weeks ago, my Malaysian wife and I visited Banana Leaf. We both agreed that the food was fantastic, the staff was pleasant, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The dishes were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
After a few years, I decided to give this restaurant another try, but I was extremely disappointed with the small portion size of the main meal considering the high prices. I don't think it's fair, and I will not be ordering from here again. Other restaurants offer larger meals at more reasonable prices.
Nearly closing when we walked past, but welcomed us in when we looked through the window. Food was amazing, service with a smile!! Would definitely come back.
Delicious food, decent prices, helpful but not obtrusive service. A good night out, and open on a Monday!
