Starfish - Paraparaumu

I had heard great things about this restaurant, which piqued my curiosity, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The menu was reasonably priced, and the battered fish I ordered was excellent. It had the perfect balance of fish and batter, and the crispiness was just right. The chips were also well-prepared, with a crunchy exterior and a fluffy interior. They offer a variety of fresh seafood and even accept advance orders. There's a small seating area with benches outside the shop where you can enjoy your meal fresh. I will definitely return for more, and if you’re not from Kāpiti, it’s worth the trip!

I absolutely love how they prepare the fish using fresh ingredients, and you even have the option to choose your own fish from a great selection. They offer the best fish and chips in Kapiti!

I haven't been here in over eight years, but it remains our favorite fish and chips restaurant in the world! Don't be deceived by the minimal decor—the food they prepare and cook is absolutely worth the wait! The terakihi, butterfish, scallops, mussels, raw fish, and chips are all amazing.
