The innovative and delicious appetizers, like the pig bell with tomato and watermelon, as well as the lobster ditralini and market-fresh fish, were always a highlight. When we visited in the early evening, the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, which we appreciated. My date ordered the tofu appetizer and crab cakes, while I opted for the sushi appetizer and a pork entree. Everything was outstanding. The service was attentive and prompt. Though it's not the cheapest option, it is definitely worth the price.

I have dined at Chakra before and it was okay so decided to go again.... what a big mistake. Had the worst experience, so very terrible that we will never be returning. It was so loud in there like it’s some cheap dive bar and it took them 20mins to even acknowledge us after being seated. Didn’t even bother sending anyone else over asking us if we wanted something to drink while we waited for our server. Nothing... My server finally shows up and was absolutely the worst. He didn’t even apologize for making us wait so long and was so very rushed all the time. He told me they have specials every week and so when we asked him what the special was this week he told us that there is no special just whatever is on the menu... okay??? Did you not just tell us there’s a special EVERY WEEK??? Knew absolutely nothing about the menu or the alcohol they can serve or make. He tells me they can make anything I want so I asked for what I want... of course they don’t have the ingredients to make it. Worst 200.00 dollars ever spent. Service wouldn’t matter so much if it was a lower end restaurant but to pay what we paid for just a dinner for 2 I expected slight bit more on the service end.

He makes every dish sound delicious and he is so helpful and kind. We love going to Chakra. The food is very good and there are some gluten free choices. The chicken was wonderful. Give Chakra a try.
