Black Pete's And Grill - Parakai

I was very impressed with this place. The owners are a married couple from Fiji, and you would not find two nicer people in the world. They are very friendly and up for a chat. The menu is quite extensive and there's definitely something for everyone. It is also very reasonably priced. I had the seafood basket, a salad, and a beer, and it came in at just over $30. The fish and squid was fried to absolute perfection. It was soft and the fish was flaky. It was so good! The side salad was a very generous portion and very crisp and fresh. Everything was delicious! The decor is a bit dated, but gives it some nostalgia. It's very clean and comfortable. It's a huge space, so bring the whole family. There's also lots of parking. I will definitely come again!

Fabulous place that we always go to when we stay in Parakai for a few days. The owners are friendly, helpful and the food is delicious. The prices are also reasonable and the food well presented.

Great food and friendly service for a competitive price. There was not many people there which is a shame they’re not doing anything wrong that I could see. I guess it’s because not many people have tried this place or don’t know it’s there? The food was quite a bit cheaper than places in Kumeu or Albany and it was really enjoyable as you can see from the photos. If you live close by and you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out. Worth try? Definitely!

Went here for Mothers day with my favorite aunty JJ and lovely daughters Wend and Tanz , The food was blooming next level goodness.I really enjoyed sitting outside , enjoyed the cool beverage yes indeed it was a brilliant day, and our spread at the Black Pete bar and grill was splendid and pleasurable both. The owner really warmed up once we sat down. I'm going back there.
