I recently stopped by for lunch and was genuinely impressed by how great this restaurant is. The atmosphere is straightforward, but the food definitely makes up for it. I ordered the shrimp in diablo sauce, and it was fresh and flavorful. The rice and beans were also tasty. The owners are friendly and accommodating; I have some dietary restrictions, and they gladly informed me about which dishes were suitable for me.... View all feedback.
What R W doesn't like about El Rancho Mexican:
The restaurant is no longer in operation. I visited when it first opened, and I found the food quality to be lacking and the prices too high. I've heard that it changed ownership before shutting down. View all feedback.
I stopped in for lunch recent and was really surprised at how good this place is. The ambiance is simple but the food more than makes up for it. I had the shrimp in diablo sauce and it was fresh and delicious. The rice and beans were also really good. The people who own it are friendly and accommodating. I have food issues and they were happy to tell me which dishes I could eat. It's a bit hard to locate but it sits next to Rite-aid. It's worth locating.
I love this place. Food is good and service is always friendly and fast. I really like the chili verde burrito if I am in the mood for a hearty meal. Carnitas is yummy too. If I am looking for lighter fare the tostada does the trick. Tortilla chips are crisp and fresh. They have a hotter green salsa if you like it a bit spicier. Just have to ask. They recently opened for breakfast so have to give it a try soon. Family atmosphere always clean.
The food taste like they are heating up a Swansen frozen Mexican TV dinner. Taco Bell just down the street serves better food and that's not a plug for Taco Bell.
We've been here twice and both times it is ok. It's very basic food. Burritos are large and average tasting. Ambiance is kind of 50s diner which is strange. Three stars is a stretch but compared to others in town that's how they earned the third star.
The service and staff are excellent. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. It's exceptionally clean, they are super friendly and prompt, and the food is pretty good. I'll admit that I judge harshly when it comes to Mexican. I would give the food itself 3 stars. The rice and beans were good. The enchilada sauce was really good. I was disappointed with the chili rieno because it wasn't breaded. It only seemed to have egg, although the flavor was good. I would say it's the best Mexican I've had in paradise. I've been to 3 places so far since I've moved here.
