My husband and I had lunch here today. It was a wonderful break from work. I had the chicken and dumplings. That is my favorite dish there and it didn't disappoint. What Guadalupe Torp doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.:
Terrible experience. One time they gave me plastic cutlery and I saw them giving another table metal cutlery. Another time, the steak was cooked wrong, which is ok, I just gave it back and asked for it to be cooked right, the server said the meal would be taken off my bill. I got the steak about an hour later, and the server told me she didn't actually talk to the manager and said I still had to pay for the steak. I'... View all feedback.
I hadn't been to Cracker Barrell in years, but this was a good reintroduction. The food was good, service was great. My 3 month old got a little fussy and one of the waitresses offered to hold him so we could eat. I thought that was a sweet offer.
Tried their new seafood Lent special. The shrimp had good flavor the fish could have been better. Service was okay.
Great servings. Great environment. Small wait but seating was quick. Walked away stuffed and sleepy. Exactly what we needed.

The food was delicious as always. I had Grandma’s Breakfast apiece of Ham, Bacon, sausage potato casserole, 2 pancakes with maple. Syrup. Now I am hungry again just for thinking about it!
