Classic Cuban Food - Louisville

Our first visit at mima was an unforgettable one. the charm of the building, the uniqueness of the decoration and the commitment for the culture is a great victor. but it seems best to eat. run over with taste and only a winning experience. cocktails are equipped. we loved everything.

It was such a fun, pleasant dinner! the service was fantastic and the food was at the top!

We had a fabulous time in la bodeguita de mima. leonardo was attentive to our needs, but we never felt rushed. he explained the menu, gave recommendations and was among the top waiters we ever had. the food was excellent, freshly made on order, hot delivered from the stove/grill. drinks were fresh and handmade. the bar is long and simply excellent. Finally, the Tre-leche was the best I ever had. that's such a shady in louisville. we will certainly return.

Our meal was wonderful! We started our meal with the Cubanchos with lechun and they were delicious! For the entree, we enjoyed the Pollo al mojo and Camarones al Ajillo. Both were very tasty.

One of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had. Not only was the atmosphere authentic to Cuba, the music is also. But the food! Oh the food! Simply the tastiest I’ve ever had. Served in surprising ways, the food is full of distinctive flavors. Each bite is memorable! Save room for dessert! If you are entertaining guests, take them to this wonderful restaurant. If you are celebrating an occasion, go here. It isn’t cheap. But it is worth every penny. Our party was about $50 per person with drinks. Which, by the way are very imaginative. We’re from out of town and went with friends at the recommendation of a friend. WOW! We’ll be going again!! And again! And again!
