Five words: Ham and Cheese Sausage Roll. It is among the best things I've ever tasted in my life. Soft sausage meat that melts in your mouth and a big pocket of gooey melted cheese, all wrapped in golden flaky pastry. Heaven. I used to frequent this bakery for their sausage rolls when I lived in Papakura. I’ve never tried their pies because I’m such a fan of the sausage rolls, but I’ve heard great things about them. I also know they have a delicious caramel slice.
Best bakery ever! I live in a suburb with plenty of bakeries, but I still make the drive to Kura just for their sausage roll and pancakes.
This is the best bakery I've experienced since I arrived in New Zealand a year and four months ago!
