I had high expectations of this place due to all the excellent reviews. I ordered take away, 3 meat dishes and 4 naan bread which came to $60 which I thought was a little expensive. Mango chicken was very sweet and butter chicken mediocre. I prefer Tadkas at Riverwood. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sharni's:
This was the most disgusting Indian food I have ever had in Sydney. We ordered the rogan josh and vegetable takeaway with some rotis. The rotis were made from a packet of frozen oily rotis and was disgusting. The rogan josh was terrible. I had to throw the food away. You need to have a proper cook. Not just anybody can start cooking. The prices were exorbitant and the food was terrible. The other reviews are all fake... View all feedback.
We went to this restaurant for the second time on a Friday night and it quickly became very busy, almost full. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. Our only disappointment was the waitress, who, although not new, was unable to answer basic questions about the menu on two occasions. The restaurant is BYO alcohol only.
My party of 5 dined at Sharni's on a Saturday night, July 25th. The service was outstanding, and our mixed entrees were promptly brought to our table. We also enjoyed 3 different curries, which were flavorful and not greasy like some other places. We found the price to be very reasonable and will definitely return. While we have ordered takeout from Sharni's before, we missed out on the great atmosphere and service of dining in. Thank you for a lovely evening.
We have dined at this restaurant a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Tonight, we were joined by another couple and collectively, we cannot understand why it is not more popular. The decor is lovely, the tables are well set, the prices are not expensive, the food is good, and the surroundings are comfortable. In my opinion, it is a must-try.
Sharni's Indian restaurant is on our regular dining out roster. We like Shani's Indian food and cosy restaurant. Every dish is delicious and we've tried them all now. Staff are always helpful and our wines welcome. Never disappoints.
We used to dine at Southern Court at Padstow, which in my opinion was 'top shelf ' Indian Cuisine. Well here 's a new place that we tried tonight that 's equal. Sharni 's is every bit as good. Great ambience and decor, but by far the biggest attraction is the food. One word.... 'Amazing '. Menu prices are very reasonable. Service was great. A throughly great dining experience. If you love traditional Indian Cuisine you will not find better.
