I like to visit the Found things because of the location towards the end of the beach where the sea is calmer, but this season unfortunately I have been very le... read more I like to visit the Found things because of the location towards the end of the beach where the sea is calmer, but this season unfortunately I have been very let down by the complete lack of service there. Three times now I've been using one of their very rickety sunbeds and ordered a drink...only to find that I've had to wait and wait and then go up to the bar myself to place the order again. Even doing this has not guaranteed the drink to arrive! The waiters seem uninterested and unfriendly this season. What a shame that Shan isn't working here any more because he was the life and soul of the place, unlike the unsmiling miseries they have working there now. I have moved on to another shack now because of this, but I don't think the staff have even noticed or if so they don't appear to care......

We stayed in one of their huts which was basic, but comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this place - lively, fun and excellent value for money!

Right on Palolem beach, The Found Things offers good drinks, tasty(and customizable if you ask nicely) food and has a great staff led by Dhiru Bhai. If you are a good customer,...they’ll also allow you to play your own music in the shack. The only rider- you need to be respectful of other guests. My husband and I keep going back here and take our friends and family too.
