The ambience is very good, good hospitality and service but the food was not at all for what it was priced, very Expensive and not for an Indian palate. Everything was bland and no spice. we took sharmili tikka which was like chicken covered with tomato sauce, Fish vindaloo was an mistake which was sour just with red chilli and tomatoes. The captain was very cheering and he knew we didn't like the food as everything was just left over on the table. I feel the cook was on a Holiday we just gulped the beer enjoyed the ambience and proceeded to the next shack in search of good food.
This hotel can be booked through their site by credit card. We booked for 3 days but we left on 2nd day. We took sea view hut which was very dirty and full with cockroaches. It was an unpleasant stay. Mosquito nets were useless.
Palolem Beach Goa final stop on 8 week adventure, Ciaran's restaurant had been recommended to me by a fellow traveller, dined at both the main restaurant and the tapas restaurant both very good thoroughly enjoyed both meals.Buttered chicken with rice and nan bread really tasty.Tapas equally as good chicken in creme sauce with potato bravos, bread with oil and vinaigrette dressing.Highly recommend
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. However, our experience was dampened by the loud singer, making it difficult to hear the staff. The singer was great, but the noise level from the music in the background was too loud. We may not return because of this.
