What Joe W doesn't like about Jeri's Diner:
So given the options, you could do worse. My kids had burgers that looked pretty good and fresh. I had country fried steak. Canned green beans on the side. No culinary awards to be won, but a decent enough meal. An extra star for the service. Very friendly and completely genuine. I enjoyed giving him my business. View all feedback.
Considering the choices available, this place isn't the worst option. My kids ordered burgers that appeared quite fresh and appetizing. I opted for the country fried steak, which came with a side of canned green beans. While it may not be winning any culinary awards, it was a perfectly acceptable meal. I'll add an extra star for the service, which was very friendly and sincere. I genuinely appreciated the experience and enjoyed supporting their business.
As a local resident, I am thrilled that Jeri's has opened its doors. Everything I have tried so far has been fantastic, but my absolute favorite is the grilled chicken salad. The chicken is cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The dressings taste homemade; my favorite is the French. What a wonderful local business! Their breakfast is also excellent and offered at very reasonable prices.
I was on my way from Clarksville to Bloomington when I started to feel hungry in Palmyra. I stumbled upon this charming diner that had signs enticing me with lunch specials. The cozy and cheerful atmosphere of the converted house was inviting. I ordered the fried cod sandwich and onion rings, and they were just perfect. So tasty! I also enjoyed some fresh-brewed iced tea. The server and chef (possibly the owner?) were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I even managed to save some room for the homemade hummingbird cake with coffee, which was absolutely delicious! The walls were adorned with record albums, providing some great entertainment with artists like Ray Charles, Polkas, Leif Garrett, and Donna Summer—such a fun touch! This place is definitely worth a visit.
