A friend mentioned this was a great place to stop and get a bite to eat while driving through. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and got seated right away. Within 10 15 minutes the place was jam packed! The food and service was amazing! The staff couldn't be more friendly so we will definitely return on our annual trek to Iowa!! View all feedback.
What Taby Franklin doesn't like about Hats:
They are never open when you want them to be. They have great food. But if they're obviously never open....then I suppose you'll never know for yourself. It's ridiculous that there seldom ever even open. Such a shame View all feedback.

Dropped by Hats Dugout with dear friends and colleagues for an evening out and boy was this place fantastic. First off, beers are ice cold. I opted to pair my beers this evening with an awesome bacon cheeseburger, cooked to order! Owner, operator and server. Heather. took wonderful care of us! If you are in the mood for a down to earth good time, ice cold drinks and awesome food from their kitchen, then come on by Hats Dugout!
