Just had breakfast at Emily's Corner. Delicious toasted bacon and egg sandwich and Toby's Estate coffee. For such a small cafe it sure packs a punch. Amazing range of yummy looking cakes etc. Would be nice to have a shady courtyard to eat at, but no matter. We'll be back. Lorraine and David. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Emily's corner:
There are a few tables & chairs outside on the pavement here, but this is really a “take a way” café. We decided to call in for coffee & burgers to take home for lunch this Sunday, and whilst the quality of the food was good, nothing inspired us to want to return. We both had a “Big E Burger” (a beef burger with bacon, egg and salad) it was tasty and fresh ingredients had been used, but it was really huge and neither... View all feedback.
Second time I've been to Emily's corner. The food is absolutely delicious and it's such a shame that I won't be visiting again due to their awful customer service. Never greeted with a smile and always seems like your order is unimportant. I ordered a muffin and was waiting for my coffee. My muffin got stuck in my throat so I asked for a glass of water, the barista looked put out and annoyed. He said "we don't do tap water". (Huh?? You make coffee and food, of course you do tap water?) Anyway, I had to buy a bottle of water. When we received our coffees my partner asked for a sugar. The barista tutted and said "ask at the counter next time". What a way to start the weekend - I think not!! Change your attitude and we would love to come back. Such a shame as you've got a lovely little shop. Just take a breather and remember, you can't be in business if you're not getting customers...
Went here recently with family - while visiting from interstate - and was totally astounded by the range of fresh / home made foods , innovative snacks , drinks etc..on offer.Very friendly staff and the place had a bit of a buzz about it.Locals were constantly wandering in for take away snacks and coffees. The only down side was the size if the place....apparently an old butchers shop ....limited inside space but a few outside tables (in fine weather).Still - the lesson is - arrive early to beat the rush.
This charming cafe is situated on the corner of a roundabout, which is why it is named as such.
The restaurant offers a delicious variety of pies, wraps, frittatas, quiche, and sweet treats such as scones and muffins.
other day I tried a small restaurant that is great for grabbing something to go. There is plenty of parking available and they serve fabulous coffee from Toby's Estate.
