**Dining at Rick's Garage: A Mixed Experience in the Sunshine Coast** Rick's Garage captures the charm of 1950s American diners, complete with vintage decor and nostalgic music. While the atmosphere is a hit with families and friends, opinions on the food and service are divided. Some diners enjoy large, flavorful burgers and friendly service, particularly during happy hour. However, others report disappointing meals, including cold chips and undercooked patties, with service that lacked responsiveness. Despite these inconsistencies, the restaurant remains a quirky destination for a casual outing, where guests can enjoy a vibrant setting—just be cautious about meal expectations.

This diner has a fantastic American vibe, complete with vintage billboards and gas station signs that give it a lot of character. During our visit, they had live entertainment, which really enhanced the atmosphere! The burgers were large and delicious, offering great value for the hinterland, where prices tend to be higher. Plus, having Stone Wood on tap is a nice bonus. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.

What a great spot for lunch! I really enjoyed my Rick’s Burger and Spider, while my husband liked his pulled pork burger, although he found the chips a bit dry. It’s also wonderful that they are pet-friendly; we were fortunate to find a shaded corner where our two hounds could relax. It was a bit warm, so I think it would be more enjoyable to dine outside during the cooler months. Overall, we had a lovely visit.

What a fantastic spot to check out! If you enjoy classic burgers, ice cream, milkshakes, and coffee, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is filled with nostalgic clutter, especially vintage car memorabilia, along with a variety of other interesting items. It's a wonderful experience for both your taste buds and your eyes. I will definitely be returning!
