I visited Zambrero Palmerston on their opening day and tried their $5 burrito special twice. I went for lunch and then again for dinner, ordering the beef burrito both times. Interestingly, the burrito I had for dinner was much tastier. They offer a variety of options for building your burrito, but I don't think I would regularly pay the normal price of $11.90 for one. What User doesn't like about Zambrero:
Not impressed. Came in for two burritos, cost $2 extra per one for guacamole and only got a tiny teaspoon sized dollop on each one. Very expensive, burritos were bland and tasted like nothing, staff member standing at counter having an extremely loud conversation with a friend who stopped by. Wont be returning View all feedback.
This is a convenient place to grab a delicious vegan burrito. they use a tofu/cauliflower mix as part of the filling. it's really delicious. the vegan acid cream is too rich for my pleasure, and I usually don't get the cheese, or if I, very little.
Loves the vegan burrito with vegan cheese and vegan sour cream.
The menu is confusing if you are not familiar with the food. They were already putting the chairs up an hour before closing time. The vegetarian burrito turned out to be tasty, but it was nothing more than a salad with black rice in a wrap for $12. The black rice made the difference, something that I don't eat very often otherwise....
I was thinking about what was I going to have for lunch. I'm over getting lunch from a place and it feels like it's sitting on the bottom of your stomach for the rest of the day. A work colleague had earlier purchased lunch from here and said it was good. So when I went for lunch I decided at the very last minute to give it a try. I ordered the Classic Bowl with Pork. As promised the food/ingredients were fresh and thought the meal was quite tasty. The other good thing is, it didn't sit on the bottom of my stomach like a block of concrete.
I was not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered two burritos and paid an extra $2 for guacamole on each, but only received a tiny amount on each one. The burritos were expensive, bland, and lacked flavor. Additionally, a staff member was loudly chatting with a friend at the counter. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
